Besides our Neckarzeit project, we have been running the company Holger Morlok Services for several years. Here we rent slush ice machines and cash registers for events of any kind. We founded and managed the company in the classic way: at home in our garage. With an increasing order volume we soon noticed that despite a spacious garage and a large cellar we were experiencing space problems.
In 2016 we received an offer for abuilding lot in Neckarwestheim. Since it was located in a mixed use area, we immediately started with planning and above all with budgeting.
In the course of this finding phase we had the idea to build up a second main pillar parallel to our current business.
To us, the idea of a temporary dwelling house was very interesting. After many conversations with our entrepreneur friends, we developed a finished concept from this idea.
Carolin Morlok: I studied business administration and gained many years of professional experience in the field of human resources and training in a medium-sized mechanical engineering company. Since 2016 I have also been supporting my husband’s company.
Holger Morlok: I completed two commercial apprenticeships and further training as an IT specialist (Operative Professional). I was able to gain experience in sales and marketing in various companies. I have been running my own company as a full-time employee since 2013.
In our free time we both work for the Wirtschaftsjunioren Heilbronn-Franken e.V. (JCI, junior chamber international), an association for young entrepreneurs and executives.
We are firmly convinced that we can recognise and optimally satisfy the needs of our customers.
We are already looking forward to welcoming you as our guests in the Neckarzeit
